Q: What is the Gentlemen of Leisure (GOL)?
A: GOL are a group of friends that annually pick a big time college football game anywhere in the country and live it up while we are out there.
Q: How do you pick where your annual trip will be?
A: We pick a college football game primarily based on how much fun the tailgate will be. We try to do our trip in September or October so we get nice weather.
Q: Do you guys have a favorite college football team?
A: Considering we graduated from Drexel, Delaware, Kean & Cooper Union, we consider ourselves free agents.
Q: What’s the most important part of planning your trip?
A: It’s all about the lodging. We want to get a hotel or house as close to the action as possible. We start that planning about 10-12 months in advance. Everything else falls into place.
